Kawasaki has officially taken the wraps off its popular sport-tourer, the Versys 1100S and Versys 1100 SE, introducing two eye-catching new color options for the 2026 model year. While the mechanical setup remains unchanged, the fresh paint schemes give the premium trims an even more commanding road presence.
Two New Premium Color Options
The 2026 update brings Metallic Diablo Black with Metallic Deep Blue and Emerald Blazed Green with Metallic Diablo Black to the S and SE variants. These shades are reserved exclusively for the higher-end trims, meaning the base Versys 1100 will continue without these new finishes.
Same Powerful Engine, Proven Performance
Under the fairing, nothing has changed—and that’s a good thing. Power still comes from a 1,099cc parallel-twin engine delivering an impressive 133 bhp. The bike retains its well-equipped feature list, including:
- Bi-directional quickshifter for smooth gear changes
- Cruise control for long-distance comfort
- Smartphone connectivity with voice command
- Showa electronic suspension (exclusive to the SE trim) for adaptive ride quality
India Launch Expected in Late 2026
Industry insiders suggest that Kawasaki could launch the updated Versys 1100 in India by the end of this year, complete with the new color schemes. Pricing may see a slight increase compared to the current model, but with its blend of performance, comfort, and fresh styling, the 2026 Versys 1100 is set to remain a top choice for touring enthusiasts.
