Engine & Performance

Powering the 160 Duke is a 164.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled SOHC engine that delivers 19 hp at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. This makes it the most powerful motorcycle in the 160 cc segment. The engine is mated to KTM’s trademark split trellis frame, which is engineered for both stability and nimble handling.

Suspension & Braking

The bike uses a WP Apex front fork with a hollow axle for improved rigidity. Weight-saving measures include lightweight bionic wheels and a reduced-mass hugger tube for better agility. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, ensuring confident stopping power.

Features & Equipment

Key equipment highlights include:

  • 5-inch LCD display for clear and informative readouts
  • Cast pillion step holders for durability
  • Compact grab rail for added practicality

Expanding KTM’s Street Bike Range

With the arrival of the 160 Duke, KTM’s naked street lineup in India now spans four models, from 160 cc up to 400 cc. This ensures there’s a KTM Duke for riders at nearly every budget and skill level, making the 160 Duke an attractive choice for those stepping into the affordable performance motorcycle
